"Souper" Bowl Sunday
WHAT is the Souper Bowl …? It’s an event held on the date of the Super Bowl, February 9, 2025 to address and tackle hunger locally.
The Souper Bowl encourages individuals to collect soup and funds for food banks and community-based charities. (Harmony House, Green Good Neighbors, and Goodyear Heights Food Pantry)
There will be two boxes in the back of the church representing the two teams playing in the Super Bowl. Bring your donations in and place it in the team box that you are rooting for.
Whether you’re a sport fan or not, on Super Bowl Sunday we can make a difference in our community, by collecting soup.
Valentines for the Military
We are again collecting Valentine cards for the City of Stow to distribute to our military. Purchased cards or homemade cards are both accepted. (A nice project and lesson for grandchildren too!) Please no envelopes or glitter and no larger than 8-1/2 by 11.
A personal note stating your gratitude and love is always appreciated. Please sign from our church and/or your name.
We need these by Tuesday, January 28, so they can be delivered to Stow by the end of the week. Please place cards in the marked box outside of the office. Thank you!
Green Valley Missions
The Collection Center is located to your left as you enter the church. This fall, we are collecting for Green Good Neighbors, Blessings in a Backpack and Goodyear Heights Food Pantry. Click the link below for a list of needed items and to learn more about these important organizations.
